視覚障害のある人が駅ホームから転落時の対応学ぶ講習会 奈良
視覚障害のある人が駅のホームから転落する事故が後を絶たない中、奈良県の駅に関係者が集まり、ホームから転落した際の対応について学ぶ講習会が開かれました。
この講習会は、奈良県内の視覚障害者の団体が近畿日本鉄道と協力して実施したもので、会場となった橿原市の駅には、当事者やボランティアなどおよそ50人が集まりました。
まず、鉄道会社の担当者が接近する列車の運転士や駅員に異常を知らせるため、ホームに設置されている非常通報ボタンについて説明しました。
そして、参加した人たちは実際に線路に降りてホームの高さが1メートルほどあることを確かめたほか、ホームの内側に入ることができる退避スペースの構造などを確認していました。
講習会を開いた「奈良県視覚障害者の生活を守る会」の浦西寛会長は、「私たち視覚障害者が1人で鉄道を利用する機会が増える中、貴重な体験ができたと思います」と話していました。
近畿日本鉄道の興村昌樹運行課長は「皆さんに安心して鉄道を利用してもらえるよう引き続き安全には十分に注意していきたい」と話していました。
