課徴金制度や被害回復制度 ほか ～ 個人情報保護法3年ごと見直し検討会開催
個人情報保護委員会は7月24日、個人情報保護法のいわゆる3年ごと見直しに関する検討会の開催について発表した。
同会では、2024年6月27日に公表した「個人情報保護法 いわゆる3年ごと見直しに係る検討の中間整理」を踏まえ、事業者、個人それぞれに与える影響が大きく、今後とも一層の意見集約作業が必要だと考えられる論点について、様々なステークホルダーとの間で制度改正の必要性を含めて議論する検討会を開催する。検討事項は下記の通り。
・課徴金制度
・団体による差止請求制度及び被害回復制度
・その他（本検討会における議論の状況等を踏まえ必要と考えられる事項）
第1回会合は7月31日に開催し、年内に取りまとめを行う予定で、開催案内は同会ホームページに掲載する。
