Metaは27日(米国時間)、ThreadsのDMにおいて、AIアシスタント「Meta AI」と1対1で対話できる機能を提供開始した。Threads上の投稿や画像、動画などをDMでMeta AIに共有し、質問したり、気になるトピックを掘り下げたりできる。
Meta AIとのやりとりはチャット内にのみ表示され、ユーザー本人以外には公開されない。会話を始めるには、ThreadsのDM画面でMeta AI(@meta.ai)を検索して選択する。
Threads上の投稿について質問する場合は、投稿右上の「…」から「Meta AIに聞く」を選ぶか、紙飛行機のアイコンをタップしてDMでMeta AIに共有することで質問できる。
同機能はモバイルアプリ版のみで提供し、現時点でWeb版には対応していない。Metaは、Threads上の話題やトレンドについて詳しい文脈や情報を得ながら、リアルタイムの会話に参加できるとしている。
