東京消防庁によりますと、21日、都内では、3歳から103歳までの合わせて287人が、熱中症の疑いで救急搬送されました。1日当たりの人数としては、ことしに入ってから最も多くなっています。

また、熱中症と診断された人以外にも、暑さに伴う頭痛や脱力感などを訴えて搬送されるケースが増えていて、21日に都内で救急車が出動した件数は、速報値で合わせて3454件と、統計を取り始めた1963年（昭和38）以降で、最も多くなったということです。

東京消防庁は、のどが渇く前に、こまめに水分を補給することや、室内では、冷房や扇風機を適切に使用することなど、対策の徹底を呼びかけています。
