11日、札幌市内のマンションで交際相手とみられる女性を金づちで殴って殺害したとして、33歳の容疑者が殺人の疑いで逮捕されました。「彼女を殺した」とみずから警察署を訪れ、事件が発覚したということで、警察は詳しいいきさつを調べています。

逮捕されたのは、札幌市厚別区青葉町の自称、アルバイト従業員、岡本優斗容疑者（33）です。

警察によりますと、11日午後2時ごろ、自宅のマンションの部屋で交際相手とみられる女性の頭などを金づちで殴って殺害したとして、殺人の疑いが持たれています。

およそ2時間後に容疑者が警察署を訪れ、「彼女を殺した」と話したことから、マンションに駆けつけた警察官が、室内で頭にけがをした女性が死亡しているのを見つけたということです。

現場は、JR新札幌駅から東に600メートルあまり離れた住宅やマンションなどが建ち並ぶ地域の一角です。
