Yahoo!ニュースにAI版ヤフトピ 重要ニュースを編成する「AIトピ」（Impress Watch）
LINEヤフーの「Yahoo!ニュース」は、生成AIが多数の記事から重要なニュースを選定し、30分ごとに見出しを生成・編成する新機能「AIトピ」を23日から開始した。「Yahoo! JAPAN」アプリ(iOS版)の「ニュースタブ」から開始し、今後Android版やブラウザー版への展開を予定している。

「AIトピ」は、コンテンツ利用の許諾を得たパートナーが提供する記事の中から、生成AIが「Yahoo!ニュース トピックス」の編集方針を参考に、「公共性」や「社会的関心」などを軸として重要なニュースを選定し、見出し・編成を生成する。
「Yahoo!ニュース トピックス」の編集の知見をAIに活用し、「速報性」「公益性」「信頼性」などの要素から総合的に判断してニュースの選定や見出しの生成を行なう。ユーザーは、「いま話題になっている重要ニュース」を簡単に確認できるようになる。
編成は約30分ごとに更新し、Yahoo! JAPANアプリ(iOS版)の「ニュースタブ」最下部の「いま見ておきたいAIトピ」に、最大20本の記事が表示される。AIトピでは、Yahoo!ニュースに配信されている政治や経済、災害といった重要度の高いニュースや、スポーツやエンタメなどのニュースを、AIが各ジャンルからバランスを考慮して選定する。
コンテンツ許諾を得たAIコンテンツパートナーは50媒体以上が参加。なお、Impress Watchを含むインプレスのWatchシリーズもAIトピに参加している。
