シャープ、AIとテレビで介護を支援する「AIトレーナー」

シャープは、介護施設で高齢者の機能訓練業務を支援する「介護向けAIトレーナー」を開発した。AIとテレビの大画面を活用し、機能訓練に関わる一連の業務をAIでサポートする。 テレビに専用アプリを設定し、Webカメラを接続して使用する。テレビに表示されるAIキャラクターの質問に答え、ガイダンスに従って起立や歩行などの動作を行なうと、AIが回答内容や身体の動き、姿勢などを分析し、アセスメント(状態の把握)を行なう。アセスメントの結果をもとに、機能訓練の内容や頻度、時間などを含む計画も自動で作成する。 スタッフはパソコンやタブレットから個々の利用者の計画を確認し、その計画に基づいて訓練を実施。利用者は、AIキャラクターのかけ声や動きに合わせ、理学療法士が監修した運動や身体を動かすゲームに取り組む。また、訓練の記録や評価、進捗に合わせた計画の見直しなども自動で行なえる。 厚生労働省の科学的介護情報システム「LIFE」に対応し、個別機能訓練加算の申請に必要な書類の作成も支援する。 介護現場では人手不足を背景に、テクノロジーを活用する業務効率化の期待が高まっている。シャープは2023年にAIが姿勢・動作を分析し運動や健康アドバイスを行なう「AIヘルスケアトレーナー」を開発。2025年夏に介護領域での応用について検討を開始し、「介護向けAIトレーナー」の開発へと繋がった。2月には、有料老人ホーム「プライムガーデン海老名」(神奈川県海老名市)で機能訓練の実証を行なっており、介護現場での有用性を確認。今後も介護施設での実証を重ね、早期の実用化を目指す。
