高市総理大臣は、20日、SNSに、平日は、家事や資料の読み込みに追われ、今月は土日も「骨太の方針」などの検討を進めたとした上で、総理大臣就任以降のみずからの睡眠時間は、0時間から3時間が常態化しているなどと投稿しました。
これについて睡眠の質の向上に関する議員連盟の幹部を務める、国民民主党の古川代表代行は記者団に対し「きちんと寝ることはパフォーマンスを上げるために大事だ。昭和の時代は徹夜でなんとかするのが評価されたが、それではかえってパフォーマンスを落とすことが科学的にも分かっている」と指摘しました。
その上で「高市総理大臣が頑張っていることは理解しており、ゆっくりきちんと休みを取ってもらいたい」と述べました。
