ことしのサッカーワールドカップ北中米大会に関するSNSの投稿をFIFA＝国際サッカー連盟が分析したところ、選手やチーム関係者などをひぼう中傷する内容が24万件にのぼったことが分かりました。

FIFAは9日、ことし6月から7月にかけて行われたワールドカップ北中米大会に関するSNSの投稿を分析した結果を公表しました。

それによりますと、大会に関する1700万件余りの投稿やコメントのうち、およそ24万件が選手やチーム関係者、審判などをひぼう中傷する内容だったと確認されたということです。

このうち人種差別的な内容が12％、暴力的な内容が8％などとなっていて、なかには個人情報を勝手に公開するなどの極めて悪質な投稿もあったということです。

FIFAは脅迫的な投稿があったアカウントについて、捜査機関に通報したとしています。

FIFAのインファンティーノ会長は「苦痛をもたらし、心の健康に影響を与えるこの忌まわしい行為に対処するため、われわれは団結して取り組んでいく」とコメントしています。
