静岡 伊東市長への不信任決議案可決 市長の今後の対応焦点
学歴詐称の疑いが指摘されている静岡県伊東市の田久保真紀市長に対する不信任決議案が1日、可決されました。市長は10日以内に議会を解散するか、辞職・失職するかを選択することになり、今後の対応が焦点となります。
伊東市では、田久保市長の学歴詐称の疑いについて市議会の百条委員会の調査が行われるなど市政の停滞や混乱が続いていて、補正予算案の編成に遅れが出るなど市民生活への影響も懸念されています。
こうした中、市長に対する不信任決議案が1日の定例市議会に提出され、採決の結果、全会一致で可決されました。
これを受けて市長は、地方自治法の規定に基づき、10日以内に議会を解散するか、辞職・失職するかを選択することになり、今後の対応が焦点となります。
市長が議会を解散した場合、市議会議員選挙には少なくとも4500万円ほどの費用がかかるということです。
田久保市長は1日、不信任決議の通知書を受け取ったあと報道各社の取材に応じ「議会のご意向は、先ほどもお伺いした通り非常によくわかっておりますが、受け取ってすぐに即答するたぐいのものではないと思っております。持ち帰りまして決議の中身を見させていただき考えたうえで決めたい。そのように考えております」などと話していました。
