東京電力柏崎刈羽原発 再稼働是非“公聴会”終了 議論本格化へ
新潟県にある東京電力柏崎刈羽原子力発電所の再稼働の是非について、県民が意見を発表する「公聴会」が31日で終わりました。新潟県の花角知事は「公聴会」での意見などを踏まえ、9月以降に再稼働の是非について判断を示すとしていて、今後、地元の同意をめぐる県議会などでの議論が本格化する見通しです。
柏崎刈羽原発の再稼働をめぐっては、地元の同意が焦点になっていて、新潟県はことし6月から県民が再稼働の是非について意見を発表する「公聴会」を県内5か所で開催しています。
31日は新発田市の会場などと県庁をオンラインでつなぎ、最後となる「公聴会」が開かれ、公募などで選ばれた合わせて19人が意見を述べました。
このうち50代の男性は「AIの普及や、異常気象に伴うエアコンの利用の増加などを踏まえると、電力の安定供給はますます重要だ」などと述べ、再稼働に賛成する考えを示していました。
一方、70代の女性は「原発事故が起きた場合、介護などが必要な人は実際には避難できなくなると思う。自然災害は防げないが原発は止めることができる」などと述べ、再稼働に反対する考えを示していました。
花角知事はこうした意見に加え、県が実施する県民へのアンケート調査などを踏まえ、9月以降に再稼働の是非について判断を示すとしていて、今後、地元の同意をめぐる県議会などでの議論が本格化する見通しです。
また、柏崎刈羽原発について東京電力は、国の審査に合格した2基のうち、当面、6号機の再稼働を目指すことにしています。
