イラン情勢影響で調達不安定 TOTOがシステムバスなど受注停止
イラン情勢の影響で石油製品の調達が不安定になっているとして、大手住宅設備機器メーカーのTOTOが、13日からシステムバスなどの受注を停止したことがわかりました。
北九州市に本社があるTOTOは、販売するシステムバスやトイレユニットなどで、壁や天井に使うフィルムの接着剤や、浴槽のコーティング材に含まれる有機溶剤について、ナフサなどの石油製品を使用しています。
しかし、イラン情勢の悪化やホルムズ海峡の事実上の封鎖で石油製品の調達が不安定になっていることから、13日から新規の受注を停止することを決め取引先などに周知したということです。
一方、洗面台やトイレに使われる衛生陶器などこのほかの商品については受注を続けるとしています。
また、LIXILは、ナフサ由来の樹脂などについて、供給制限やコストの上昇などの影響が懸念されるとしていて、今後、一部の製品について価格や納期、受注の数などを調整する可能性があるとしています。
