ドジャース 佐々木朗希 4回無失点 開幕2戦目で先発登板へ
大リーグ、ドジャースは開幕前最後のオープン戦でガーディアンズと対戦し、2試合目の実戦登板となった佐々木朗希投手が先発して4回を無失点に抑えました。試合のあと、ロバーツ監督は3月19日に東京で行われる開幕シリーズの2戦目で佐々木投手を先発登板させると明言しました。
今月18日に東京で始まる開幕シリーズまで1週間を切った11日、ドジャースはアリゾナ州のキャンプ地で行われた開幕前最後のオープン戦でガーディアンズと対戦しました。
前回の登板で3回無失点と好投した佐々木投手が先発し、立ち上がりは打たせて取るピッチングで10球で三者凡退としました。
2回は先頭バッターにライト前ヒットを打たれましたが、続くバッターをスプリットで三振に取るなど後続を抑え、3回と4回はフォアボールを1つずつ出したもののヒットは許しませんでした。
この日のストレートの最速は156.7キロで、4回を投げて球数は41球、打たれたヒットは1本だけで、2つの三振を奪いオープン戦2試合続けて無失点に抑えました。
この結果を受けて、ロバーツ監督は試合後の報道陣の取材に対し、東京で行われる開幕シリーズの2戦目で佐々木投手を先発登板させると明らかにしました。
一方、この試合に1番・指名打者で先発出場した大谷選手は、1回の最初の打席で2球目の高めをストライクと判定されるとすぐにヘルメットを触り、オープン戦で試験的に導入されている「ロボット審判」を初めて申告しました。
その後、判定が覆り、大谷選手はこの打席フォアボールで出塁しました。
このあと、大谷選手はフォアボールとファーストゴロで、この日は3回打席に立ちノーヒットでした。
ドジャースは12日に日本に向けて出発し、18日から始まるカブスとの開幕シリーズでは、初戦で山本由伸投手が2戦目では佐々木投手が先発登板することになります。
