独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）は5月7日、「セキュリティ・キャンプ2025 全国大会/ネクスト/ジュニア」について発表した。8月11日から8月16日に、LINK FORESTで開催する。
「セキュリティ・キャンプ全国大会」は、セキュリティ分野に興味を持ち、将来同分野で活躍したいという意志をもった2025年4月2日時点において13歳以上、2026年4月1日時点において22歳以下の日本国内の学校に在籍する学生・生徒を対象に高度な情報セキュリティ技術の習得機会を提供しており、2004年度のスタート以来、2024年度までに1,000名以上の将来有望なIT・情報セキュリティ人材を輩出している。
「セキュリティ・キャンプ ネクスト」は、セキュリティ・キャンプ 全国大会に対しさらに高度な教育を行うための特別プログラムで、参加可能な年齢の上限を25歳に引き上げ、セキュリティ・キャンプ 全国大会の過去の修了生も参加可能として、若干名を募集する。用意された講義は多分野に渡り、さらに深く高度なものとなっている。
「セキュリティ・キャンプ ジュニア」は、少人数クラスで情報セキュリティに関する技術教育を行うためのプログラムで、2026年4月1日時点において15歳以下の日本国内の学校に在籍する生徒・児童を対象に若干名を募集する。ネットワークに関する講義に加え、ネットワークに関するセキュリティや、開発を効率的に行うための基礎知識について講義を行う。
