介護保険制度見直しへ 国の専門家会議 負担のあり方など議論
高齢化で介護サービスを利用する人が増加する中、3年に1度の介護保険制度の見直しに向け、利用者の自己負担額のあり方などの議論が国の専門家会議で始まり、年内にも方針を取りまとめることにしています。
介護保険サービスを利用する人は去年4月末時点で529万人で、介護保険制度が始まった2000年から3倍以上に増加し40歳以上の人が支払う保険料負担もあがっています。
こうした中、ことし6月に閣議決定された「骨太の方針」では、現役世代の負担を軽減し全世代型の社会保障が不可欠だとして、原則1割の利用者負担の見直しなどがあがっています。
29日に開かれた厚生労働省の専門家会議では、3年に1度行われる介護保険制度の見直しに向け、介護サービスの給付と負担のあり方などについて議論を始めました。
委員からは「物価高の中で自己負担が増加すると、サービスの利用を控えて健康の悪化などにつながりかねず容認できない」という意見のほか、「保険料負担の増加で現役世代は限界に達しており、負担軽減の見直しが不可欠だ」といった意見が上がっていました。
今後、具体的な項目ごとに議論を進め、年内にも方針を取りまとめることにしています。
