去年まで東京地検特捜部に在籍し、現場の検事をとりまとめる「キャップ」を務めていた48歳の男性検事は、事件の捜査で取り調べた女性と不適切な関係を持ったとして調査を受けています。

この問題で、不適切な関係は、事件に関する女性の刑事手続きが終わる前から始まったとみられることが、関係者への取材で新たにわかりました。

また、関係者によりますと、別の事件で国会議員を聴取するために公費で確保したホテルに、女性を呼んだこともあったということです。

捜査などの公平性や適正さに疑義を抱かせるおそれもあり、最高検はさらに詳しい経緯を調べるとともに、男性検事の処分について検討しています。
