2001年に日本限定シューズとして初登場した「エア フォース 1 'Linen'」は、長い間、世界中のスニーカーファンの羨望の的であり続けている存在だ。素材感が際立つリネンを纏ったナイキのアイコニックなエア フォース 1は、レアな存在だが常に注目を浴び続け、2016年にKithとの限定コラボアイテムとして復活。その後、2024年にはCult Classicsシリーズの1つとして、オリジナルに忠実な姿で復刻されたのも記憶に新しい。そして今年、丈夫なリネンキャンバス素材でアップデートしたバージョンになって帰ってきた。暖かくなるこれからの季節にもってこいのリネン素材のエア フォース 1はこのタイミングで手に入れておくのが賢明だ。
