新型レクサスES登場!!! ハイブリッドとEVの2本立てへ
レクサスの4ドアセダンが大胆に生まれ変わった！

4月23日、レクサスは、新型「ES」を世界初公開した。
ESは、1989年にフラッグシップセダン「LS」とともに販売を開始した4ドアセダンだ。
8代目の新型ESは、レクサスの次世代電動車ラインナップの先陣を切るモデルとして、全面刷新を遂げた。
コンセプトは「Experience Elegance and Electrified Sedan」で、静粛性と乗り心地をさらに向上させたという。
マルチパスウェイを通じたカーボンニュートラルの実現に向けて、ハイブリッドとBEV（バッテリー式電気自動車）のパワートレーンを用意した。
デザインは、次世代BEVコンセプト「LF-ZC」のデザインに着想を得た表現に挑戦し、新型ESからはじまるレクサスの新たなデザインを体現したのが特徴だ。
インテリアは、物理スイッチを内装に同化させることで、機能性と上質なデザインを両立した世界初の「Responsive Hidden Switches（レスポンシブヒドゥンスイッチ）」や、パーソナライズされた体験価値を提供する「Sensory Concierge（センサリーコンシェルジュ）」をレクサス初採用。
さらに、クルマの基本素性と電動化技術を徹底的に鍛え上げることで、ドライバーとクルマが一体となり、いつまでも運転していたいと思える操縦性と、すべての乗員がおのずと笑顔になれる乗り心地と快適性を高い次元で両立することを目指したという。
新型ESの日本発売は、2026年春頃を予定する。
