NotebookLM、研究者や出版社がノートブック公開 専門知識に対応
Googleは、個人やチーム専用のAIデータベースを作れる「NotebookLM」の新機能「Featured notebooks」をデスクトップ版ユーザー向けに公開した。
著名な著者、研究者、出版物、非営利団体などが作成したおすすめのノートブックを公開したもの。エコノミスト誌の「The World Ahead 2025」や、ベストセラー作家アーサー・C・ブルックス氏によるアトランティック誌のコラム「How to Build A Life」、イエローストーン国立公園を訪れる人のための科学ファン向け旅行ガイドなど、詳細な科学研究から実用的な旅行ガイドまで、さまざまな分野の内容が含まれている。
ユーザーはこれらのノートブックに対して、質問をしたり特定のトピックについて深掘りしたりするなど原文に基づいた引用付きで回答をえられる。内容を対話風に音声で紹介する音声概要や、マインドマップ機能の生成なども可能。
Googleでは、ノートブックの公開共有機能を既に実装しており、過去4週間で14万強の公開ノートが作成されたという。今後も、The EconomistやThe Atlanticなどと連携しながら新規のノートを追加する予定。
