Anthropicは18日、最上位AIモデル「Claude Fable 5」(フェイブル5)のサブスクリプションでの提供を7月19日(太平洋時間)で変更すると発表した。原則従量制のFable 5の利用で一定期間はサブスクで利用可能としていたが、20日以降はMax(月額100ドル～)プランとTeam Premiumプランのみが対象となり、Pro(月額20ドル)プランなどは従量課金となる。
日本時間では7月20日(月)の午後3時59分までで、その後はMaxやTeam Premium以外の契約者は従量制へ移行する。
Fable 5は6月に公開されたが、米国商務省からの輸出規制指示により、公開の3日後に停止。7月1日から再公開された際に、一定期間はClaude Pro(月額20ドル)、Max(100ドル～)などのサブスクリプションプランでもFableを利用可能としていた。
OpenAIのGPT-5.6の登場などもあり、サブスクプラン向け提供が延長されたものの、プロモーション期間を終了。ただし、完全に従量制ではなく、MaxプランやTeam Premiumプランであればレートリミットの50%まではFable 5が利用できる。
Pro/Team Standardユーザーは、使用クレジット経由でFableを利用可能で、1回限りの100ドル分のクレジットが付与される。
Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits.
