カシオ計算機は、「G-SHOCK」の新作として、大胆な造形と独自の耐衝撃機構が特徴の「GA-V01」シリーズのカラーバリエーション4機種を3月に発売する。価格は24,200円。 今回追加されるカラーバリエーション「TRANSPARENT PACK」は、2000年代のテックガジェットやおもちゃなどで人気だったクリアカラーにヒントを得たもの。グリーンスケルトン、オレンジスケルトン、パープルスケルトン、グレースケルトンの4種類が追加される。 2025年4月に完全な新型として登場した「GA-V01」シリーズは、有機的なフォルムや新たな構造、全面液晶と針のコンビネーション、磁力で固定され衝撃を逃す「ショックリリース針」の搭載など、斬新な発想を多数盛り込んだのが特徴。ベゼルとバンドが一体になったデザインで、ドーム型風防の周囲にはバンパーを兼ねた立体的なバーインデックスが配置される。大容量電池(CR2025)の搭載と省電力化により電池寿命は約10年を実現している。 クオーツ式ムーブメント(モジュールNo.5751)を搭載。耐衝撃構造で20気圧防水。針退避、ワールドタイム(48都市)、ストップウオッチ(1/100秒)、タイマー、時刻アラーム・時報、フルオートカレンダー、12/24時間制表示切替、操作音ON/OFF切替、ダブルLEDライト(ホワイト)の各機能を搭載する。本体サイズは49.1×58.2×19.6mm、重量は74g。
