免疫低下している人の新型コロナ診療の注意点など 初の指針案
がん患者など、免疫の働きが低下している人が新型コロナに感染した場合の診療の注意点などをまとめた、初めての指針の案を国立感染症研究所などのグループが公表しました。
がんや血液の病気の治療などで免疫の働きが低下している人が新型コロナに感染すると、重症化しやすいうえ、数か月にわたって検査で陽性が続くこともあり対応に悩む医療機関が多くなっています。
このため国立感染症研究所などのグループは、国内外の最新のデータをもとに診療の注意点などをまとめた初めての指針の案を公表しました。
指針案では
▽ウイルスの増殖を抑える治療薬は、通常より早期の投与を推奨し
▽病院内での管理については通常、発症から5日間から10日間とされる隔離期間を、免疫の低下の程度によってさらに延長し解除までの検査などの手順を国内外の事例をもとに詳しく示しています。
グループは今後、関係する学会などに意見を求め、指針案を改定していくとしています。
研究グループの代表を務めた国立感染症研究所感染病理部の鈴木忠樹 部長は「新型コロナはがんなど免疫不全の患者にとって、いまだに大きな問題だ。こうした患者の診療については、まだ分かっていないことも多く、今後も情報を集めて、現場でよりよい医療を提供できるよう支援したい」と話していました。
