東京地下鉄(東京メトロ)、三井住友カード、ジェーシービー(JCB)は、東京メトロ全線を対象に「東京メトロ夏のクレカ乗車還元キャンペーン」を実施する。期間は7月16日～31日。キャンペーン期間中、Visaでは、東京メトロ線のクレカ乗車利用分の決済額から30%をキャッシュバックする。期間中のキャッシュバック金額は最大600円。 JCBでは、J-POINTが貯まるカードを対象として、通常の20倍が付与される。通常は200円につき1ポイントのところ、期間中は20ポイントになる。対象のカードは、日本国内で発行されたタッチ決済対応のVisaまたはJCBカード(クレジット・デビット・プリペイド)や、同カードが設定されたスマートフォンなど。東京メトロは3月から「クレカ乗車」をスタートしている。東京では夏休み期間に国内外から観光客が増え、公共交通の利用に不慣れな客の増加も見込まれることから、観光客を主なターゲットとして夏休み期間にキャンペーンを実施し、クレカ乗車の利便性について体験してもらう狙い。
