auから3つの新料金プラン 12歳以下は学習+300kbps、60歳以上は電話+金利
KDDI、沖縄セルラーは、ライフステージに応じたサービスを利用できる3つのau新料金プランを新設し、12歳以下向けの「U12バリュープラン」、16歳以下の「U16バリュープラン」、60歳以上向けの「シニアバリュープラン」を9月1日から提供開始する。

U12バリュープランは月額1,870円、U16バリュープランは2,398円(3GB)～4,048円(20GB)、シニアバリュープランは4,048円。また、データを多く利用したい日に24時間データ使い放題となる「データ1日放題」も9月中旬以降に提供開始、価格は1日550円。
ライフステージごとに求められるサービスが異なることから、各世代にあわせた特徴を盛り込み新たなプランとして展開。12歳未満は動画を使いすぎず学習を促すように、シニア世代は5分間通話無料+特殊詐欺対策などを盛り込んでいる。各3プランともスターリンクとの衛星通信により、衛星経由でメッセージ送信などができる「au Starlink Direct」に対応する。
■ 300kbpsに制限しながらコンテンツ充実「U12バリュープラン」
U12バリュープランは、12歳以下の向けの新料金プランで、送受信最大300kbpsでデータ通信を利用できる。通信速度を制御することで、動画やゲームなどの使い過ぎを防止しながら、保護者の方とのメッセージのやり取りなど日常に必要なサービスはスムーズに利用できるようにする。
また、犯罪や事故から子どもを守るアプリ「コドマモ」(通常月額790円)や、英語学習・仕事体験などの自主学習コンテンツで学べるアプリ「auキッズラボ」(同1,100円)を追加料金なしで利用できる。
月額料金は1,870円で、U12家族割(-1,100円)、au PAY カードお支払い割(-220円)と組わわせると月額550円となる。
■ 利用スタイルで容量を選べる「U16バリュープラン」
U16バリュープランは、16歳以下を対象とした3GBまでと20GBまでの2段階制の新料金プラン。受験勉強や長期休暇など、時期や個人の利用スタイルによってデータ利用量の差が大きい年齢層への対応を想定している。
NetflixやYouTube Premiumなど各種サブスクサービスとの組み合わせで最大20％Pontaポイントを還元する「サブスクぷらすポイント」に対応する。
月額料金は3GBが2,398円、20GBが4,048円。家族割プラス(-550円)、auスマートバリュー(-550円)、au PAY カードお支払い割(-220円)の組み合わせで3GBが1,078円、20GBが2,728円となる。
■ 5分間通話+金利優遇の「シニアバリュープラン」
シニアバリュープランは、60歳以上を対象とし、データ容量5GBと5分間の国内通話がかけ放題をセットにした新プラン。迷惑電話対策などのオプションサービスがセットになった「電話きほんパック(V)」(通常月額440円)が無料で付帯するほか、au Starlink Direct対応で、「サブスクぷらすポイント」も利用できる。
シニア層は、通話の利用ニーズが高いこと、また特殊詐欺などへの対策が求められることから新プランを設計。また、資産管理のニーズも高いことから、auじぶん銀行との連携も強化している。
auじぶん銀行の「プレミアム金利優遇」が適用される「じぶんプラス プレミアムステージ」の特別条件(スペシャルオファー)対象となるため、auじぶん銀行の円普通預金金利 年0.55％(税引後 年0.43％)が適用される。
月額料金は4,048円。auスマートバリュー(-1,100円)、au PAY カードお支払い割もしくはauじぶん銀行お支払い割(-220円)を適用すると、月額2,728円となる。
■ 1日550円の「データ1日放題」
データ1日放題については、対象の5G料金プラン利用者が、24時間データ通信が使い放題となるサービス。料金は1日550円。データ1日放題利用中は、契約データ容量のカウント対象外になるため、データ残量を気にせず利用できる。
対象プランは、スマホミニプラン5G、U12バリュープラン、U16バリュープラン、シニアバリュープランと、au Starlink Direct専用プラン＋。受付を終了しているスマホミニプラン 5Gなどもデータ1日放題の対象となる。
KDDIは28日、au Starlink Directの衛星データ通信対応も発表した。Google マップ、auナビウォーク、auカーナビやYAMAP、ヤマレコ、ウェザーニュース、特務機関NERV防災などのサービスが対応する。詳細は別記事で紹介する。
