くら寿司、泣き顔の猫が回ってくる「スマイルチャレンジ」
くら寿司は、回転レーンを活用した新サービス「スマイルチャレンジ」を、大阪・関西万博店や東京・神奈川・大阪の一部店舗に、9月22日から順次導入する。

回転レーン上に流れてくる、泣いている猫が映るモニターに向かって笑顔を見せると、AIがその笑顔を判定し、笑顔の度合いに合わせて猫の表情が変化。猫の笑顔を引き出せれば、特典獲得のチャンスを得られる。回転寿司ならではの「目の前を通り過ぎる間に」というドキドキ感を提供するとしている。
注文形式ではなく、来店した人は誰でも参加可能。2店舗で先行導入しており、来店客の55%が参加し、また1組当たり5.2回参加しているという。家族や友人などのグループ客から一人客まで、「笑う」「笑顔になる」という行動そのものを楽しみに変え、記憶に残る食体験の提供を目指す。
9月22日時点の導入店舗はグローバル旗艦店 浅草、鳩ケ谷店、大阪・関西万博店、グローバル旗艦店 なんばパークスサウス、東貝塚店。9月末までに順次、池袋サンシャイン60通り店、葛飾金町店、府中店、足立青井店、横浜荏田店、港北みなも店、角田店、横小路店、守口店、ららぽーと堺店にて導入する。
