リシャール・ミルの新作は時計ではなくバイク!? ブラフ・シューペリアと協業し「RMB01」を発表
リシャール・ミルとブラフ・シューペリアがその才能を結集し、サーキットに特化したバイク「RMB01」を発表した。150台限定で、2025年末より発売予定。

RMB01は、1910年代にアメリカで登場した初のレーシングバイク、ボードトラッカーにインスパイアされたもので、その生々しく先鋭的なスピリットに敬意を評してデザインされた。
すっきりとしたエンジン、スリムな燃料タンク、典型的な「ドロッパー」レーシングポジション──これらのスタイルは、リシャール・ミルがブラフ・スーペリアのスタイルを踏襲するべくピックアップされた。張りのある楕円ラインは、このマシンにダイナミックで力強いシルエットを与え、その軽さは、大部分におけるスケルトン化とバックボーンから吊り下げられたデザインによって強調されている。
■リシャール・ミルの美的感覚と技術力
ブランドの創始者であるリシャール・ミルとブラフ・シューペリアのCEOであるティエリー・アンリエットは、18ヶ月にわたり密に協業し、デザインのやり取りは12回にも及んだという。そしてついに、素材、技術、形状、デザインなど、あらゆる面でこれまでにない大胆さで、ブランド独自の美的感覚を踏襲しながらもまったく新しいクリエイティビティーを発揮するモーターバイクが完成した。
リシャール・ミルのウォッチメイキングを象徴する多くの要素が、このバイクのメカニズムにも組み込まれている。アルミニウム合金やチタン、カーボンといった革新的な素材、あるいは時計のムーブメントの輪列からインスピレーションを得た分割リム、トゥールビヨン キャリバーのデザインを反映したケーシングや手作業による仕上げなど、あらゆる分野でリシャール・ミルが培ってきた知識と技術を活用し、細部に至るまでこだわり抜いている。
■最高のエンジンを
RMB01は、高品質アルミニウム（マグネシウム含有率の高い5000シリーズ合金）の塊から削り出された彫刻のような997ccツインシリンダーエンジンを搭載している。精密機械加工と複数のくぼみにより、各部品は最適化され、160kgの原材料から、わずか23kgの完成部品しか残らない。
ブラフ・シューペリアのエンジンメーカーは、ピークパワーよりむしろ、幅広い使用範囲と高い柔軟性を選択。130bhpのパワーは、サポートと安定性を提供する空力部品のおかげでサーキットで存分に発揮することが可能だ。カーボン製のシャーシは、まさに自立した骨組みであり、時計のブリッジのように機械式サブアセンブリを支えている。その張りのある筋肉質な構造は、マシン全体のダイナミックなラインを強調しており、完成したバイクは、リシャール・ミルのキャリバーと同じように芸術的な美しさを放つ。
フランスですべて手作業で製造されるRMB01は、150台限定で、2025年末より発売予定。3つのカラーバリーエーションがあり、Noctural Sapphire(ミッドナイト ブルーにブルーのディテール)、Selene(マットグレーにオレンジのディテール)、 Pearl of Speed(パールホワイトにレッドのディテール)となっている。
