熊本 大雨の浸水被害 中心部では水が使えないところも
記録的な大雨で、浸水被害を受けた熊本市の中心部では、地下のポンプが故障して水が使えなくなっているところもあり、住民が不便な生活を強いられています。
熊本市中央区の下通など中心部は、今回の記録的な大雨で浸水被害を受け、1週間がたった18日も影響が続いています。
このうち、熊本市役所の近くにあるビルでは、水をくみ上げる地下のポンプが故障し、上層階のおよそ20世帯で今も水が使えないということです。
住民の小山武子さん（81）は友人に運んでもらった水を小さなボトルに移し替えて飲み水などに使っているということです。
復旧の見通しは立っていないということで、小山さんは「水が出ないのは死活問題です。1日でも早く普通の生活を取り戻したいです」と話していました。
また、下通の地下1階にある喫茶店では、18日も店内の片づけや取り引き業者との対応に追われていました。
浸水で冷蔵庫が故障したほか、机やイスなどを外に出して壁紙を貼り替える作業なども残っているため、店は当面、休業するということです。
