OpenAIは14日(米国時間)、ChatGPTのモバイルアプリにおいてコーディングエージェント「Codex」に対応した。Codexは、コーディングだけでなく様々な業務作業をAIに任せられるサービスで、アプリ対応によりCodexをスマートフォンからも操作できるようになる。 Codexにおいては、エージェントが長時間にわたって作業を行なう中で、確認や修正などの必要もある。アプリ対応により、CodexがノートPC、開発環境、リモート環境で作業を進めている間も、状況を確認し、方向性の変更や次のステップの承認、新たな指示を出せるようになる。 Codexが稼働しているノートPCやMac mini、リモート環境などのいずれかに接続して利用する。ChatGPTにサインインしていれば、オフィスに出発する前に、処理に時間がかかるリファクタリングをCodexに依頼し、Codexで確認しながら移動、デスクに着いてから結果を確認するといったことも可能になる。 ChatGPTモバイルアプリのCodexは、無料版やChatGPT Goを含むすべてのプランで、iOS/Android向けにプレビュー版として順次提供。macOS版のCodexで対応を開始した。Windows版Codexアプリへのモバイル接続機能は近日中に提供予定。
