東日本大震災で被災の「復興ピアノ」 仙台空港に設置
東日本大震災で津波の被害を受けた地域から運び出されて修復された「復興ピアノ」が仙台空港に設置され、訪れた人たちが音色を奏でています。
3月1日から仙台空港に設置されているのは14年前の3月11日、東日本大震災で津波の被害を受けた七ヶ浜町の住宅で被災したピアノです。
ピアノは水につかる被害を受けましたが、重機で引きあげられたのちに修復され、震災を考えるきっかけにしてほしいと、毎年この時期にストリートピアノとして空港に設置されるようになりました。
ピアノには引きあげられた際にできた傷や津波によって鍵盤が欠けた状態がそのまま残されていて、空港を訪れた人たちは直接触れて音色を奏でながら震災に思いを寄せていました。
佐賀県から訪れた80代の男性は「ピアノを弾いているうちに震災当時の情景が思い出されました。今後も被災地を支えていきたい」と話していました。
ピアノの所有者でピアノ講師の櫻井由美さんは「ふだん震災に関わりがない人たちにもピアノを弾いたり音色を聞いたりしてもらい、ぜひ当時に思いをはせてほしい」と話していました。
この「復興ピアノ」は11日まで仙台空港1階の到着ロビー付近に設置されていて、一部の日を除き誰でも演奏することができるということです。
