国道249号 一部で隆起した海岸に仮設道路整備し開通 石川 輪島
能登半島地震による土砂崩れで、複数の区間で通行止めが続いている国道249号のうち、石川県輪島市の一部の区間では地震で隆起した海岸に仮設の道路が整備され、2日、4か月ぶりに通行できるようになりました。
仮設の道路が完成したのは国道249号のうち、輪島市の観光名所「白米の千枚田」近くにある市中心部と東部を結ぶ区間です。
この区間では、地震による土砂崩れで通行止めが続いていましたが、地震で隆起した海岸を活用し、土砂をう回する形で長さ400メートル余りの仮設の道路が新たに整備されました。
2日正午に開通し、4か月ぶりに通行できるようになると、早速地元の住民たちが利用していました。
地元の人によりますと、これまで市中心部へは山あいの道路を通って1時間ほどかかりましたが、国道249号の通行再開で所要時間は半分程度になるということです。
開通に先立って近くの漁港では説明会が開かれ、国土交通省の担当者が、仮設道路は幅が5メートル程度で狭いため、対向車とのすれ違いに注意してほしいなどと呼びかけていました。
仮設道路の近くの名舟地区の古酒谷政幸区長は「ようやく国道が通れるようになってうれしいです。あとは水道が復旧すれば、2次避難した住民も戻って来やすくなります」と話していました。
