トランプ大統領 輸入医薬品に100％の追加関税 署名 日本は15％
アメリカのトランプ大統領は、輸入される一部の医薬品などに100％の追加関税を課す文書に署名しました。ただ、日本についてはさきの日米合意に基づき、関税率は15％となっています。
トランプ大統領は2日、外国から輸入される医薬品やその原料について通商拡大法232条に基づき、100％の追加関税を課すとした文書に署名しました。
ただ、日本やEU＝ヨーロッパ連合は関税措置をめぐる交渉での合意に基づき関税率を15％にする、などとしています。
関税の対象とされているのはジェネリック医薬品などを除く特許が有効なもので、発動時期は大企業は120日後、中小企業は180日後としています。
また、▽アメリカで工場を建設すると約束した企業については4年間は関税率を20％にするとしたうえで▽さらにアメリカ向けに薬価を引き下げる場合には2029年1月まで関税を免除するとしています。
トランプ政権としては、高い関税を課す方針を示す一方でそれを軽減する措置をあわせて設けることで、アメリカへの投資の呼び込みや物価高への対応につなげる思惑があるものとみられます。
