ドローンをEVに搭載!?ボルボの高級ブランド「ポールスター」の電動スポーツカー
ボルボの高級EVブランド「ポールスター」が、新たな電動スポーツカーのコンセプトモデルをこのほど発表した。注目される美しいデザインから、走行中にドローンを車体から離陸させ空中から自撮りできるというコンセプトまで、写真と動画で紹介しよう。

ボルボの高級EVブランド「ポールスター」が、新たな電動スポーツカーのコンセプトモデル「O2」をこのほど発表した。注目されるのは美しいデザインだけではない。なんと走行中にドローンを車体から離陸させ、空中から自撮りできるというのだ。
このドローンについては実現性が低いとみられているが、この流麗なデザインの電動スポーツカーは市販される可能性がある。かつて発表されたコンセプトモデル「Precept」が好評だったことから、「ポールスター5」として量産されることになった前例があるからだ（詳細の記事はこちら）。
「O2」のデザインは、オーバーハングを最小限に抑えたワイド＆ローのボディと長いホイールベースからなり、クラシックなスポーツカーのプロポーションを具現化していると言える。テスラが17年に発表して発売が遅れている新型「ロードスター」の対抗馬になりうるかもしれない。
