福島 南相馬 小学生が川にサケの稚魚放流「元気に帰ってきて」
東日本大震災と東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故の発生から14年となる中、福島県南相馬市の小学生がサケの稚魚を川に放流し、地元に戻ってくることを願いました。
南相馬市では、震災で関連死を含めて1157人が犠牲になり、原発事故では一時多くの住民が避難を余儀なくされました。
10日は、南相馬市南相馬市鹿島区の上真野小学校と鹿島小学校の児童およそ70人が参加して、サケの稚魚およそ1万匹を近くの真野川に放流しました。
児童たちは「大きくなってね」とか「いってらっしゃい」などと声をかけながら、8センチほどの稚魚を川に放していました。
放流された稚魚は、北上してオホーツク海などを周遊したあと、4年後の秋に産卵のため、再び川に戻ってくるということです。
児童の1人は「いつも食べているサケの稚魚を放流できてよかった。立派なサケに育って元気に帰ってきてほしい」と話していました。
稚魚の放流を企画した真野川鮭増殖組合の紺野広顕組合長は「震災で荒れ果てた自然をもとに戻すという思いで取り組んできました。豊かな自然を守っていきたい」と話していました。
