安倍元首相銃撃事件 被告の初公判10月28日と発表 奈良地裁

3年前、奈良市で安倍元総理大臣が銃撃されて死亡した事件で、殺人などの罪で起訴された山上徹也被告の裁判について、奈良地方裁判所は初公判をことし10月28日に開くと発表しました。

3年前の2022年7月8日、奈良市で安倍元総理大臣が銃撃されて死亡した事件では、山上徹也被告（44）が殺人などの罪で起訴されています。

この事件は裁判員裁判で審理されるとみられ、裁判を前に裁判所と検察、弁護士の3者で証拠や争点を絞り込む「公判前整理手続き」がこれまでに7回行われました。

裁判の日程は決まっていませんでしたが、奈良地方裁判所は13日、初公判をことし10月28日の午後2時に開くと発表しました。

その後の日程については明らかにされていません。

山上被告は捜査段階の調べに対し、母親が多額の献金をしていた旧統一教会に恨みを募らせた末、事件を起こしたなどと供述していたということで、裁判では被告の境遇などの情状面を踏まえた刑の重さなどが争点になるとみられます。
