ソニーフィナンシャルグループ 東証プライム市場に株式上場
「ソニーグループ」の金融部門を担う「ソニーフィナンシャルグループ」が、29日、東京証券取引所のプライム市場に株式を上場しました。金融業界で垣根を越えた競争が一段と激しくなる中、意思決定の迅速化とグループの連携を強みに独自色を発揮したい考えです。
「ソニーグループ」の金融部門を担い生命保険や銀行などを傘下に置く「ソニーフィナンシャルグループ」は、29日、東京証券取引所の最上位の区分、プライム市場に株式を上場しました。
午前中には遠藤俊英社長らが出席して、上場を祝うセレモニーが行われました。
午前10時すぎに最初の取り引きが成立し、基準となる価格を55円上回る205円が初値でした。
通常の上場では、一般の投資家に株式が売り出されますが、今回はソニーグループが2割未満の株式を持って一定の資本関係を維持したうえで、残る8割を超える分がグループの株主に割り当てられます。
これは競争力につながる事業再編を促そうと国が設けた「パーシャル・スピンオフ」と呼ばれる制度に基づく手法で、税制上の特例が適用されるメリットがあるということです。
遠藤社長は「高いアルプス山脈の登山口にようやく立った気持ちだ。今後もソニーブランドとテクノロジーを2つのつえにして登っていきたい」と話していました。
金融業界で垣根を越えた競争が一段と激しくなる中、会社では上場により迅速な意思決定を図る一方、グループの研究開発人材を活用して新たな金融サービスを開発するなど、連携も強みにして独自色を発揮したい考えです。
