随意契約の備蓄米 “事業者の9割以上が販売の意向”小泉農相
販売期限が延長された随意契約による備蓄米について、小泉農林水産大臣は、引き渡しが済んでいない事業者の9割以上がキャンセルせずに引き取り、販売する意向を示していると明らかにしました。
農林水産省は、随意契約の備蓄米について、今月20日時点で10万トンが出荷できていなかったことから、今月末となっていた販売期限を延長しました。
これについて小泉農林水産大臣は、26日の閣議のあとの会見で、申し込んだ分の備蓄米が引き渡されていない事業者はあわせて251に上ると説明しました。
そのうえで、25日までに213の事業者への意向の確認を終えたところ、9割以上にあたる199がキャンセルせず、すべての量の引き取りを希望していると明らかにしました。
一方、7つの事業者が全量のキャンセル、残る7つの事業者が一部のキャンセルを希望したということです。
農林水産省は、意向の確認ができていない事業者への聞き取りを進めるとともに、販売を希望する事業者に対して出荷の作業を急ぐことにしています。
小泉大臣は「新米の価格が去年と比べても相当高い中で、備蓄米をすべて引きあげるというような環境にはないと思う」と述べました。
