Perplexity、ユーザーの習慣を理解する電子メールアシスタント
Perplexityは、電子メール用パーソナルアシスタント「Perplexity Email Assistant」を発表した。GmailとOutlookに対応し、Perplexity Max(月額200ドル)の会員が利用できる。
ユーザーのコミュニケーションスタイルや優先事項を学習し、ユーザーのトーンに合わせた返信メールを作成。カレンダーの予定に基づいて会議の日時も提案し、普段のカレンダー習慣に沿った会議候補時間を提案してくれる。カレンダーへの登録はアシスタントをメールのCCに追加することで実行できる。
受信箱にあるメールの内容についても質問が可能。例えば「取締役会前に優先すべきメールは?」「Q4予算関連メッセージをまとめて」などの質問に対して、受信トレイ内のメールから回答を生成する。
スマートラベルにより受信箱を自動整理し、処理済み、対応必要、注意が必要な項目を一目で確認できるよう表示する。自動下書き機能も備え、アシスタントがあらかじめ返信内容を作成し、それを編集するだけでメールを送信できる。
アシスタントを利用するには、自身の使用しているメールの受信トレイから、assistant@perplexity.comにメールを送信する。
