25年目のGT3に注目！

10月18日、ポルシェは、新しい「911GT3」を発表した。
996型の911にGT3が設定以降、今年で25年目を迎えた。新しい911GT3のエクステリアは、前後デザインを若干変更。ダウンフォースを高めるべく、エアロパーツが見直された。フロントまわりでは、新しいマトリックスLEDヘッドライトや大型のエアインテークが目をひく。
軽量化のため新しいデザインのアルミホイールも用意。オプションのマグネシウムホイールを選んだ場合、バネ下重量は前モデル比、マイナス9kgを実現する。
搭載するエンジンは4.0リッター自然吸気の水平対向6気筒ガソリン。シリンダーヘッドなどに手を加え、性能を高めた。搭載するトランスミッションは7速PDK（ポルシェ・ドッペルクップルング）と6MTの2種類。いずれのギアボックスも最終減速比は8%短縮した。
足まわりでは、ダンパーを再チューニング。路面の凹凸や縁石を乗り越える際の安定性とハンドリングが向上した。
さらに、新しい911GT3に用意される「ツーリングパッケージ」には、リヤシートがオプションで追加可能となった。
新しい911GT3の日本導入時期などは今後明かされる。
