JR東日本、旅で使う道具を駅でレンタル「プレンタ」
ジェイアール東日本物流とアリススタイルは、双眼鏡やモバイルバッテリーなどのアイテムを「駅で借りて駅で返すレンタルサービス」について、サービス名称を「プレンタ」とし、3月13日から東京駅でサービスを開始する。「JR東日本スタートアッププログラム」で実証実験が行なわれていたもの。

Webから希望する商品を予約し、駅で受け取るサービス。使用後は駅で返却できる。取り扱い商品は、防振双眼鏡(14倍：1,980円～)や小型ジンバルカメラ(1,580円～)、ARグラス(1,580円～)、大容量モバイルバッテリー(980円～)、折り畳み式キッズチェア(1,880円～)など。上記料金は貸出時間12時間までの場合で、貸出時間に応じて料金は異なる。貸出可能最大時間は72時間。
レンタル品受渡場所は東京駅地下1階(BAGGAGE STORAGE +)有人カウンターで9時30分～20時、マルチエキューブ(ロッカー)では初電～終電まで。予約時の受取指定可能時刻は、有人カウンターが19時30分まで、ロッカーは23時まで。
JR東日本では、今後も取扱商品や拠点を増やし、手荷物預かりや「はこビュン」などの他サービスとも連携を進める。
