淀屋橋駅直結の29階建て複合ビル「淀屋橋ゲートタワー」
淀屋橋駅西地区で開発が進められている地上29階、高さ約135mの複合施設の名称が「淀屋橋ゲートタワー」に決定した。12月竣工、26年開業を予定している。

淀屋橋駅西地区市街地再開発組合と参加組合員の大和ハウス工業、住友商事、関電不動産開発が発表した。
市街地再開発事業により敷地・建物を共同化し、オフィス主体の大型複合ビルを整備するプロジェクト。地上29階・地下2階で、地下1階から地上2階には商業施設を展開する。所在地は大阪市中央区北浜4丁目104番(地番)で、Osaka Metro御堂筋線・京阪本線の淀屋橋駅に直結する。
御堂筋の玄関口で中之島に隣接するというロケーションを活かし、開発区域内・大川町公園などに水辺のオープンスペースを創出。御堂筋沿道街区は地区計画に則り、高さ50mの基壇部を設けることで壁面の揃った景観を創出し、これにより生まれる基壇部屋上空間を一般の人も利用できる屋上庭園とする。オフィスワーカーのサードプレイス、都市景観や水辺景観を臨むビュースポットとして提供する。
基壇部の最上階となる11階には新たなワークスタイルの提案や交流を促進する公共貢献機能を導入。建物入居者だけではなく、周辺オフィスワーカー、一般来館者にもひらかれた空間を整備し、サードプレイスとしての利用を促進する。
11階に整備する施設として、サービスオフィスやシェアラウンジがある。
サービスオフィスは、サービス付レンタルオフィス事業を展開するSYNTHが、「SYNTH ビジネスセンター淀屋橋(仮称)」をオープン。800m2以上の規模で、会議室やラウンジを展開し、ビル内外のオフィスワーカーのビジネス交流の場となることを目指す。
シェアラウンジは、カルチュア・コンビニエンス・クラブとプラスが連携。600m2を超える関西最大規模の「SHARE LOUNGE 淀屋橋with PLUS(仮称)」をオープンする。両社のもつ空間づくりのノウハウを掛け合わせ、ロケーションを最大限に活かした居心地のよいインスパイアされる空間を提供するとしている。
「淀屋橋ゲートタワー」の“ゲート”には、大阪のメインストリートである御堂筋の「玄関口」、大阪ビジネスシーンの進化やグローバル化の「起点」の意味が込められている。外観に施した格子窓の意匠も「門」としての重厚さを表していることから、淀屋橋の新たなランドマークとなるべく、シンプルかつ王道感のあるネーミングとした。
ロゴデザインは基壇部と上層階のフォルムが感じられるとともに、下部の階層に厚みを持たせ、重厚感を演出しながらシャープに描くことで、視認性も含めてオフィスビルの象徴となるものとした。
施行地区面積は約1.7ha、敷地面積は約7,206m2、延床面積は約132,330m2。
