PayPay、“スーパーアプリ”に向けホーム画面をリニューアル
PayPayは、PayPayアプリのホーム画面を大幅にリニューアルし、翌月まとめて支払える青い画面の「クレジット」の切り替えがスワイプで行なえるようになる。また、アプリを起動してすぐに、「PayPayポイント」や「PayPayカード」の利用可能額、PayPay残高の状況をリアルタイムで確認できるようにする。

また、「PayPayカード」「ポイント運用」「資産運用/NISA」「PayPay銀行」のアイコンをホーム画面に集約。ワンタップで各種金融サービスの利用ができるようにする。
今回のリニューアルは、金融サービスの利用拡大や資産管理の利便性向上を目的としたもの。PayPayでは、「金融スーパーアプリ」として、PayPayカード、PayPayポイント、PayPay資産運用、PayPay銀行などの金融サービスと連携し、他のアプリやウェブサイトへ遷移せずにPayPayアプリ内でワンストップに情報閲覧から取引までが行なえる。この使いやすさの向上が狙いで、「ユーザー体験として一体感のある操作性を実現し、各金融サービスがストレスなく連携することが、PayPayアプリの特長の一つ」としている。
また、決済でPayPayアプリを開くたびに、ホーム画面上で資産状況をひと目で確認できるようにし、金融サービスを利用するユーザーの利便性を向上。加えて、多くのユーザーからの要望に対応し、「取引履歴」のアイコンをホーム画面の上部に配置し、PayPayやPayPayカードの取引履歴を確認できるようにした。
PayPayでは、「PayPayを決済アプリから、ユーザーの生活をもっと豊かで便利にする『スーパーアプリ』へと進化させる」としている。
