Yahoo! JAPANアプリ、レーダー画面にユーザー投稿の天気情報を表示
LINEヤフーは、「Yahoo! JAPAN」アプリのiOS版において、「雨雲レーダー」上でリアルタイムの天気に関するユーザー投稿を確認できる「みんなの投稿」モードの提供を開始した。今後、Android版でもリリースされる予定。

今回の機能追加は、「Yahoo!天気」アプリで提供している機能「みんなの投稿」モードを、「Yahoo! JAPAN」アプリでも提供するというもの。
「雨雲レーダー」上で「みんなの投稿」モードを選択すると、表示した地点の天気に関するユーザー投稿を確認できる。各レーダーに加えて、「もうすぐ降りそう」など、同地点にいる他のユーザーの体感がわかり、服装や持ち物の準備、外出先での突然の局地的豪雨などの際にも役立てられる。
ユーザー投稿は「Yahoo! JAPAN」アプリと「Yahoo!天気」アプリで共有され、両アプリで同じ投稿を閲覧できる。また、天候に関係するトピックスだけでなく、「冷房」「天気痛」など、季節に応じたテーマが複数用意されており、テーマごとに投稿を確認できる。
「Yahoo! JAPAN」アプリでは、「天気」の項目で天気予報だけでなく「雨雲」「台風」「風」などの詳細な天気情報や、雨傘の有無など日々の生活や行動に役立つ情報がわかる「生活アドバイス情報」を提供している。
