「かっちゅう」どのくらい重い？ 子どもたちが体験 高知
こどもの日の5月5日、高知市の歴史博物館では、子どもたちが「かっちゅう」のレプリカを身につけて、その重さを体験する催しが開かれました。
この催しは、子どもたちに歴史に興味を持ってもらおうと、高知市の高知城歴史博物館が毎年開いていて、屋外に設置されたブースには子ども用のかっちゅうのレプリカが用意されました。
会場には多くの家族連れが訪れ、子どもたちは服の上から胴やすね当てなどを身につけ、歩いたりしながら、かっちゅうの重さを体験していました。
母親たちは、隣の高知城をバックに、かっちゅう姿の子どもをスマートフォンに収めていました。
博物館によりますと、今回用意されたかっちゅうは源義経のものをイメージして作られ、重さはおよそ7.6キロあるということです。
松山市から訪れた小学5年生の男の子は「思ったよりも重かったです。歴史の授業を頑張りたいと思いました」と話していました。
男の子の母親は「武士のようにまっすぐ育ってほしいです」と話していました。
