セリーヌの2025年夏季コレクションのテーマは「THE BRIGHT YOUNG」。1920年代のロンドンの若い貴族を中心とした社交界グループちなみ名付けられた本コレクションでは、シルバーチェーンでアレンジしたローファーや、ブローグで装飾したオーセンティックなオックスフォードシューズやブーツなど、当時の英国のスピリットを伝えるアイテムを取り揃えている。
■UNIVERSITE CHUNKY LOAFER
セリーヌのアイコン的シューズであるマーガレット・ローファーを彷彿させるデザイン。ダブルレザーウェルトを採用し、ボリューム感のある重厚なルックスが特徴だ。甲部分にはブランドロゴを刻印したプレートが付いたシルバーチェーンをあしらっており、キルトとともに華やかな印象を演出している。
■DONAVAN CHELSEA BOOT
履き口にプルストラップが付いており、脱ぎ履きがしやすいサイドゴアタイプのブーツ。洗練されたシャープなフォルムが特徴で、アッパーの素材には豊かな光沢をたたえたポリッシュドブルを採用している。シンプルなデザインの中で、ウィングチップのようなクラシックなフォーマルシューズを思わせるブローグが存在感を主張する。
■RANGERS DERBY SHOES
2019年秋のショーで発表されて以来、長年に渡り改良を重ね、究極の逸品に仕上げられたレンジャーダービー。丸みのあるフォルムと堅牢なレザーというレンジャーの特徴を備えながらも、ブランドのアイコンであるトリオンフは、つま先のブローグで表現。クリエイションの遊び心を感じられる1足だ。
