コンバース（CONVERSE）が、ストリートカルチャーブランドのパープルシングス（PURPLE THINGS）とのコラボレーションシューズ「ALL STAR LGCY SU HI / PURPLE THINGS」を8月25日（火）に発売する。コンバース公式オンラインストアおよび取り扱い店舗で販売され、価格は2万900円（税込）。

パープルシングスは、ディレクターの菊乃が手がけるプライベートブランド。ヒップホップやスケートカルチャーにインスパイアされ、メンズファッションを女性デザイナーの視点で現代のストリートへと落とし込んだデザインが特徴。クールなグラフィックや力の抜けたリラックス感を演出しながら、上品な素材使いにもこだわる東京発のブランドだ。ベースとなったのは、コンバースを代表する「オールスター」を現代的にアップデートした「オールスター LGCY」。アッパーには、パープルシングスのキーカラーであるパープルを採用。ヴィンテージライクな表情のスエード素材に、シューレースに通せるパール風パーツを合わせることで、ストリートライクなクラシックさと上品さを兼ね備えたデザインに仕上げた。オリジナルロゴが透けて見えるアウトソールもポイントだ。
