JR東日本は、2026年秋に開始を予定している新たなコード決済サービス「teppay(テッペイ)」の加盟店募集を7月22日10時から開始する。Webフォームで申し込みを受け付ける。 teppayは、JR東日本によるコード決済サービス。「モバイル Suica」アプリのアップデートにより、新たなアプリダウンロードなく、コード決済機能を追加する。teppayの機能として「コード決済」「残高の送付」「オンライン決済」などが利用可能となり、Suicaの「上限」の2万円を超える残高の商品購入にも対応する。 このteppayの加盟店(ユーザースキャン方式)の申込み受付を開始。ビューカードが申し込み受付を担当し、ユーザーがアプリで加盟店のQRコードを読み取る「ユーザースキャン方式(MPM方式)」の加盟申請を行なえる。 ユーザースキャン方式では、加盟店側は印刷済みのQRコードを設置するだけで端末設置は不要。手数料は初期費用0円で決済手数料が1.9%。また、最大12カ月後の月末まで手数料が無料となるキャンペーンも実施する。
