9月、鳥取県沖を飛行していた航空自衛隊の大型無人偵察機「グローバルホーク」が墜落した事故で、自衛隊は17日、現場周辺の海底から機体の胴体の一部を引き揚げました。機体を分析し、事故の詳しい原因を調べる方針です。

9月15日、青森県にある航空自衛隊三沢基地所属の大型無人偵察機、「グローバルホーク」が鳥取県沖の海上に墜落しました。

付近を捜索したところ、鳥取市の沖合い、およそ50キロの海底で機体とみられるものが沈んでいるのが確認され、航空自衛隊は民間のサルベージ会社と契約して引き揚げに向けた作業を進めてきました。

航空自衛隊によりますと現場の水深はおよそ200メートルから300メートルで、17日、海底から機体の胴体の一部を引き揚げたということです。

航空自衛隊は、18日以降も周辺の海域で機体の捜索や回収を行うほか、引き揚げた機体を三沢基地に運んで分析し、事故の詳しい原因を調べる方針です。
