全国知事会 新会長に長野の阿部知事が就任 “地域の力結集を”
全国知事会の新しい会長に長野県の阿部守一知事が就任することが正式に決まりました。阿部氏は、現場の視点と地域の力を結集して、日本の歴史的転換点を乗り越えていきたいという考えを示しました。
全国知事会は26日、東京都内で会議を開き、宮城県の村井知事の後任の新しい会長に長野県の阿部知事が就任することを正式に決めました。
阿部氏は「『現場から日本を動かす』というスローガンで各知事と取り組みを進めていきたい。国の政治が流動化する中でさまざまな課題があるが、政治や行政が停滞することは決して許されない。なんとか現場の視点と地域の力を結集して、この日本の歴史的転換点を乗り越えていくことが重要だ」と述べました。
阿部氏は東京都出身の64歳。
2010年の長野県知事選挙で初当選し、現在4期目です。
阿部氏の会長としての任期は、来月3日から2年間です。
全国知事会によりますと長野県知事が全国知事会の会長に就任するのは初めてだということです。
