古着屋ウェーバーによる「大Tシャツ展」がドーバー ストリート マーケット 銀座で再び開催！
ウェーバーが、昨年に続き「大Tシャツ展」を7月18日（金）から7月25日（金）までの1週間、ドーバー ストリート マーケット 銀座にて開催する。本展では「美しき混沌」をテーマに、アートとファッションが交差するDSMの空間で、アーカイブとも言えるヴィンテージTシャツを展示、販売する。

会場には、レギュラーから博物館級まで、国内外から厳選されたヴィンテージTシャツが約1,000枚並ぶ。その中には、400枚を超える映画Tシャツをはじめ、マルセル・デュシャンやダミアン・ハースト、マイク・ケリーといった現代アーティストによるTシャツや、ジョン・ケージなど「実験音楽家」たちのTシャツまで、時代もジャンルも超えた“視覚的資料”とも言えるラインナップが揃う。
本展のもう一つの注目は、ヴィンテージT市場でも人気の高い90年代映画を再構築したスペシャルアイテムだ。『トイ・ストーリー』の誕生30周年を記念したTシャツは、15版のシルクスクリーンによる繊細な多色刷りで当時のグラフィックを忠実に再現。インクの質感からパッケージのレコードジャケット風デザインに至るまで、細部に徹底的なこだわりが光る。キッズサイズの展開もあり、親子で楽しめる仕様になっている。また、アカデミー賞脚本賞を受賞したコーエン兄弟の名作『ファーゴ』をモチーフにしたTシャツは全4型。劇中の印象的な場面やオリジナルポスターのヴィジュアルを落とし込み、ヴィンテージ加工によって一点物のような風合いを持たせている。
