東京都 エアコン購入ポイント付与額8万円分に 高齢者など対象

記録的な暑さが続く中、東京都は、熱中症対策として、高齢者や障害がある人が省エネ性能が高いエアコンを購入する際に都が独自に付与しているポイントを8万円分まで引き上げる方針を発表しました。

これは、22日、小池知事が記者会見で発表しました。

東京都は温室効果ガスの削減に向けて省エネ性能が高い家電製品を購入する都民に対し独自のポイントを付与する事業を行っていて、たとえば、エアコンの場合、新規の購入で1万円分、通常の買い替えの場合で最大2万3000円分のポイントが付与され、そのポイント分は対象となる店舗で直接、値引きされます。

この事業について、東京都は、記録的な暑さが続く中、熱中症対策にも役立てようと省エネ性能の高いエアコンを購入する際に新規や買い替えを問わずポイントの付与額を8万円分まで引き上げるということです。

対象は、65歳以上の高齢者と、障害がある人で期間は今月30日から今年度いっぱいを予定しています。

会見の中で小池知事は「熱中症の疑いで搬送される人や命を失う人もいる。都民の命と健康、暮らしを守るための政策なのでぜひ多くの人に利用してもらいたい」と話していました。
